Our comprehensive programme of enrichment activities will give you plenty of opportunities to hone your talents and keep your aspirations high.
You will attend academic conferences where you can hear from experts, including examiners, on your specialist subjects. You will receive extensive academic support outside of lessons, including subject specific workshops and help with revision and study skills sessions. You will also have access to an extensive range of wider learning opportunities.
Apply to the best universities
You will hear talks from graduates and undergraduates and attend the annual Careers Conference. Here, you can network with representatives from top universities and colleges in the UK. Find out what university destinations former students have gone to.
Other support includes tailored help with UCAS applications, and specialist support with Oxbridge and Medicine applications and interviews. You will also be automatically enrolled on our prestigious Scholarship Graduate Programme designed to help your UCAS application stand out from the crowd.
Set challenging career goals
You will benefit from comprehensive, up-to-date careers information, advice and guidance from qualified advisors, and help with arranging work experience.
Our annual Careers Conference gives you valuable opportunities to meet a range of professionals, choosing from more than 100 workshops and 90 exhibitors. These cover a huge range of careers from medicine to banking, engineering, entrepreneurship and many more.
You will have the chance to take part in exciting opportunities thanks to our business partnerships. These include a professional mentoring programme with the EY Foundation, a Barclays seminar on building resilience and assertiveness, and a talk hosted by the US Ambassador to the UK.
You can attend expert guest lectures, featuring corporate lawyers, barristers and executives from companies like HSBC, BP and BT.
Our Mentoring Succesfull Professionals Programme pairs students with professionals in their area of interest. Mentors have included:
- A Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics
- A subeditor at The Times
- An associate project manager at Transport for London
- A civil servant at the Foreign Office
- An investment lawyer
- A research scientist at Imperial College London.
Extracurricular activities
Life at CTK Aquinas is not just about academic achievement, it is also an opportunity for you to discover and develop your interests, aptitudes and talents. From debating to dance, filmmaking to music, you will have many chances to get involved.
You can contribute to the in-house magazine or be elected on to the Student Council or Governing Body. The Student Council runs events throughout the year, including the Leavers’ Prom, Talent Showcase and charity fundraising events.
You will also take part in fantastic field trips and expeditions, which could include locations such as Kenya, Alaska and the Tien Shan Mountains, as well as retreats and pilgrimages.

You can take part in inter-collegial sports tournaments. Many of our students have competed at county and national level, in teams and individually. We regularly host visits by accomplished athletes.
At our annual sports day, students from all three Christ The King Sixth Forms come together for a great day of activities.
