Evening of Celebration
We were delighted to hold our Evening of Celebration on Monday 26 June 2023 providing the opportunity to recognise and celebrate our wonderful Year 13 students’ achievements this year.
It was a fantastic evening with a welcome and introduction from Ms Power, CTK Aquinas Principal followed by a talk from Ana our Student Governor talking about her experience as a student at CTK.
The Guest speaker was Leila Thomas from Urban Synergy an award winning youth empowerment charity that has helped over 20,000 young people between 9-24 years of age reach their potential. Leila talked about how she founded the charity and its current work after which she was kind enough to present the awards.
As guests arrived they were welcomed by student, Oscar playing the piano which was a beautiful way to commence the celebrations.
After the awards had been presented and to close the formal proceedings Paige read a poem she had written as a thanks to Ms Davis who is retiring at the end of term.
Refreshments were served after the formal presentations and guests had the chance to meet speakers, staff and students.
