Sustainability Specialist Facilities CTK Aquinas is a purpose-built, modern sixth form with a range of specialist facilities and resources to support your studies. This includes our spacious, state-of-theart Learning Resource Centre (LRC). Here you can access computer, printing and scanning facilities throughout the day, and three group study rooms to facilitate collaborative working. You will enjoy access to more than 7000 books, digital resources, online learning material, individual study guides for each subject, specialist journals, periodicals and newspaper, high specification computers, scanners and internet access. Computers, many with industry-standard software, are available throughout CTK Aquinas. you will be able to use Wi-Fi on site and access your OneDrive files off site. The Elevate Programme provides you with the skills, knowledge and experiences for higher education and the world of work. Our initiatives include reducing our carbon footprint, promoting ecofriendly practices, and leading environmental projects to raise awareness in our community. We proudly received the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction for our efforts and were also winners of the national Sixth Form College Association Sustainability Award 2024. Our Sustainability Development Project focuses on providing training facilities in green STEM areas, featuring solar panel and heat pump technology. Our students’ winning idea in the IKEA Let’s Go Zero Competition involves creating an Eco Hub as a workspace for students, the local community, and school to enhance sustainability understanding and application.
